The Centre of Urban Transport Emission Research (CUTER) lab participate in Tianjin Emission Inventory Program of the Environmental Monitoring Center of Tianjin. It is combined with “bottom-up” and “top-down” approaching the mobile and dust sources to figure out the characterizations, to conduct the survey of emission factor verification and activity level of main atmospheric pollutants such as PM₁₀、PM_2.5、SO₂、NOx、VOCs、CO、BC、OC. It aims to develop an emission inventory of high spatial and temporal resolution on forecasting air warning, source apportionment, controlling measurements establishment and evaluation effect. A dynamic update platform is established based on GIS with emission inventory as a core, containing the function of pollution characterization analysis, evaluation of controlling measurements and dynamic pollution update information.
